EPS Group completed the development of a 6-acre commercial/retail center within the Verrado East District. The development includes four commercial/retail buildings with supporting parking, amenities, and open space. The commercial center’s main access is from Pioneer Drive, which was aesthetically improved with the use of Arizona Ash Trees and meadow turf areas.

The development incorporated the Verrado aesthetic guidelines for streetscape and site design. The character of the site consisted of a strong median and vertical entrance that featured decorative vehicular paving, Mexican Fan Palms, and colorful accent planting. A pedestrian corridor was also introduced through the center of the site, which allowed for pedestrian seating and shade. All site amenities provided a vibrant experience while shopping, dining, and relaxing.

Throughout the project, EPS Group worked closely with the developer and local officials to ensure the project met all regulations and standards. This included designing and implementing proper drainage systems, roadway improvements, and parking lot layouts. The team also coordinated with local utility companies to ensure all necessary connections were made.

The result is a beautiful commercial/retail center that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding community. The use of Arizona Ash Trees and meadow turf areas on Pioneer Drive not only improve the aesthetic appeal of the area but also help with water conservation efforts. The decorative vehicular paving, Mexican Fan Palms, and colorful accent planting add to the overall beauty of the development. The pedestrian corridor provides a comfortable and shaded area for shoppers and diners, making the center a desirable location for the community to gather.
