Wickenburg Pedestrian Bridge

Town of Wickenburg | Wickenburg, Arizona

The Wickenburg Pedestrian bridge consists of the conversion of the existing, abandoned ADOT Highway 93 Bridge over the Agua Fria River to a pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Improvements included decorative asphalt overlay, decorative inlays, seating area, lighting, structural evaluation, and environmental clearances necessary to transfer property and improvement ownership from Arizona Department of Transportation to the Town of Wickenburg and improvements to match the theme of other downtown improvements. The signature monument is the entry way into Downtown Old Wickenburg. The project received the 2016 APWA award!
