Elijah leads the public works department of EPS Group and holds both a BSCE and an MBA from Arizona State University. Few project managers can bring this level of management education to their projects. Elijah has extensive experience in managing large, multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional, high public profile projects that require sound leadership and consensus building capabilities.
Jon has extensive experience in the design of arterial streets and intersections having served as the design engineer and deputy project manager on multiple urban arterial designs. His efficiency and responsiveness are only matched by his determination to produce a high-quality product. Jon’s experience includes roadway design, signing and marking design, traffic control, earthwork modeling, ADA compliance, storm drain design and hydrology, cost estimating, and utility coordination.
Greg has more than 20 years of roadway design experience focused on providing cost-effective and schedule-conscious designs on numerous ADOT, County, and municipal roadway projects in Arizona. Greg’s experience includes roadway, intersection and roundabout design, storm drain design and hydrology, cost estimating, urban and rural highway construction inspection, and bridge and structure construction inspection. Additionally, Greg led the effort to develop and administer EPS Group’s Quality Control/Quality Assurance program.
MACEYKO, PE, PTOE
Eric has more than 15 years of experience in traffic engineering. His expertise focuses primarily on traffic impact studies, traffic signal design, parking studies, round-about analysis, transportation planning, traffic signal analysis, and traffic design projects. Through these work experiences, Eric has developed valuable project management, design, and technical skills, and has gained experience working with nearly every major metropolitan Phoenix and Tucson municipality, as well as Maricopa County, Pinal County, and the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Matt has served as an engineer for numerous corridor and feasibility studies projects. His experience includes roadway corridor studies, roadway alignment studies, hydrology and drainage design, roadway design, irrigation design, cost estimating, and sewer system design. Matt also serves as one of EPS’ GIS leads and has performed GIS analysis for numerous planning studies and drainage analysis.
With a keen attention to detail and a knack for solving complex problems, Bruce has spent his career focused on a variety of arterial street, drainage, and utility projects. He oversees technical design, project budgets, and schedules, and is the primary point of contact for clients and subconsultants. Notable projects include the Gilbert and Guadalupe Intersection, the Mesa Gilbert Road Light Rail Extension (Valley Metro), the Southern and Stapley Intersection Design Project (Mesa), and the Higley, Warner, and Williams Field Water and Sewer Improvements (Gilbert).
With more than two decades of experience in civil engineering, surveying, and heavy construction, Jeff’s extensive knowledge, client-focused attitude, and attention to detail have proven invaluable in the successful design and management of projects ranging from site civil and utility design to rural and urban street design. Having worked on various transportation projects for countless clients and local agencies, he has earned a reputation for thorough communication, responsiveness, and a tireless work ethic devoted to client satisfaction. Jeff has managed EPS’ Tucson office since its opening in 2005.
Anthony has extensive experience in both land development and public improvement design. His experience includes commercial site design; utility, roadway, and drainage design; erosion control and SWPPP design. With nearly two decades of experience in rural and urban roadway design in the City of Tucson, his vast knowledge and organizational skills enable him to provide comprehensive solutions, design complex site layouts and effectively coordinate with multiple users.
James brings a wealth of knowledge in roadway design, transportation planning, traffic operations and safety analyses, traffic impact studies, and traffic modeling/simulation. His design experience includes the design of public roadways, utilities, development of typical roadway sections, design of horizontal and vertical geometry, and roadway super-elevation. James spent over two years with the Pima County Department of Transportation developing and managing small roadway safety projects. His experience and familiarity with safety improvements include projects that utilize federal funding.

Mary has more than 36 years of experience in the civil engineering and land surveying community, having worked in both the private and public sectors. She has significant experience as a project manager responsible for residential subdivision, commercial developments, and public projects working directly with and on behalf of the client. She is skilled in the preparation of subdivision maps, ALTA Surveys, boundary, and topographic surveys, legal descriptions and exhibits, title research, abandonments, contract management, and plan review with a focus on quality control and value engineering.
Customer service is a passion for Brandyn, as attested by the strong loyalty of his clients and his stellar reputation for the past two decades. Brandyn manages all aspects of the construction staking department and offers multiple survey crews with experience in land development, commercial development, and public works arenas. His expertise has become a standard of excellence in this field. EPS survey crews reflect this in their responsiveness and accuracy in geometric layout, construction staking, and surveys.
Richard has extensive experience in the land surveying and mapping industry, working in the across the southwest since 1996. As a certified photogrammetrist, he has extensive experience in the latest industry photogrammetry and LiDAR technologies, specializing in flight planning, aero-triangulation, digital terrain models, planimetric mapping, and orthophotography. Richard excels at solving technical issues, coordinating and prioritizing projects to successfully meet deadlines, promoting a productive team atmosphere, and creating positive client relations.
MCGARRITY, RLS, CP
Pat began his career more than 35 years ago working as a drafter and photo compiler for an aerial mapping company. His keen interest in geology eventually led to him to become a Registered Land Surveyor where he oversaw a team providing topographic mapping and GIS services. Over the past several years, Pat has focused his attention on photogrammetric and laser scanning LiDAR projects, including geodetic control surveys, flight planning, airborne GPS processing, aero-triangulation review, and soft copy photogrammetry; and mobile and terrestrial laser scanning acquisition, post-processing, classification, and modeling. Pat is based out of the Tucson office.

Bryan leads the firm’s land development group. He has over 17 years of experience directing multiple project managers and their specialty teams in providing options and solutions to maximize the value of a project while maintaining a schedule under budget. Bryan leads by example and emphasizes to his staff the importance of client service by providing continuous communication, quality plans and recognizing the needs of our clients.
Dan “Ox” Auxier has 15 years of industry experience as an engineer and a field surveyor. He has extensive knowledge of the impacts of engineering design on the constructability and overall success of a project. His diverse project resume promotes adaptability to any given project, including multiple educational, healthcare, commercial, and residential projects. Ox’s reputation in the industry is unsurpassed, and his strong relationships with local public agencies have proven invaluable in the permitting process.
Brian has spent the bulk of his career at EPS and currently leads a team of engineers and drafters to provide quality solutions for complex commercial and residential projects. From small commercial sites to large master planned communities, Brian’s experience in residential, commercial and drainage design, paired with his exposure to the development process and laser focus on quality control, provides clients with an unmatched level of service. Brian also regularly leads mentoring courses for upcoming engineers.
Joel has extensive experience in all aspects of civil engineering design and project management. His design experience includes evaluation of existing and proposed site conditions, including roadway improvements, utility design and coordination, site grading, storm event modeling and hydraulics, storm drain analysis, and retention/detention design for an array of land development projects. Joel’s production and management skills provide clients with detailed designs for final grading, earthwork modeling, erosion and scour analysis, site utility design and utility conflict resolution, CLOMR/LOMR processing, and signing and striping.
Eric has nearly two decades of experience designing and managing all aspects of local land development projects including roadways, sewer, water, grading, drainage (hydrology and hydraulics), parking lots, and roadway signing and striping. Eric has a strong attention to detail which provides clients with quality solutions to technically challenging projects.
Rich has worked as an engineering professional for more than 35 years and has a vast portfolio of experience in engineering, master planning, and the design of major land development projects and infrastructure improvements throughout the Valley. Specifically, Rich’s experience includes due diligence, planning and design engineering of large master-planned communities for the development of subdivisions, golf courses, recreation centers, and major infrastructure and treatment plants. Rich previously served as the City Engineer for the Town of Gilbert, and the Engineering Manager for the City of Chandler.
Todd has more than 22 years of national site development experience with a focus on healthcare, office, commercial, retail, institutional, and industrial projects locally and nationally. His land development consulting experience includes team development, project management, civil engineering, acquisition, due diligence, risk assessment, entitlements and asset management. He combines his engineering abilities with proactive project management to deliver quality results for his clients through the due diligence, planning, entitlement, engineering, and construction stages of development.
With more than 11 years of diverse experience in civil, environmental, and facility engineering design and construction management, John has been involved in a wide variety of land development projects including multiple projects for federal government agencies, as well as aviation and transportation market sectors. John has extensive experience and a proven track record in the development of plans, specifications, estimates, along with the associated permitting and government approvals.

Jackie has worked in the planning field since 1979 on projects throughout the state of Arizona. She has represented landowners, developers, and homebuilders as a client liaison facilitating the approval of entitlements including land use plans, zoning, use permits, variances, subdivision plats, site plans, and general plan and comprehensive plan amendments. Additionally, Jackie has served as project manager for numerous public sector assignments, and has worked for cities, towns, counties and Native American communities in the preparation of general plans and area plans.
With more than 14 years of land development experience, Jorge is a land use and entitlements planner on land entitlements and site development projects for commercial, multi-family, and single family residential communities. With roots in home building, Jorge has a knack for urban planning and focuses on providing quality designs that bring people together and add value to our communities and cities.

Shawn is a professional landscape architect with more than eight years of varied experience from project inception to construction administration. He is experienced with a variety of project types including parks, project monumentation, trails, recreation centers, resorts, site planning, and lifestyle centers. Shawn has managed teams with a variety of roles including mentoring junior staff, quality control of technical drawings, and leading site design and detailing.

Woody has provided contract City/Town Engineering Services in Arizona for over 30 years. These assignments, many of which have lasted more than 10 years, provide him with a comprehensive understanding of how cities and towns operate and complete their projects. Woody has been involved in hundreds of capital improvement projects that range from pavement maintenance through large infrastructure planning and engineering projects, as well as thousands of plan reviews of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Brandon has over 22 years of extensive technical and management experience and offers a wealth of expertise and experience in all aspects of civil engineering, construction inspection, and agency permit processing, and has worked in construction and operations in the water industry. His vast experience working on all aspects of a project from the due diligence and planning stage through detail design, agency approval, permitting, construction, and finally to operations and maintenance, provides Brandon with a unique understanding of what is required for a project to be successful.
Water is the most precious resource in the arid southwest, and as water and sewer utilities are under pressure to do more with less, building new and rehabilitating aging infrastructure is becoming more difficult. From wells and reservoirs to pipelines and lift/booster stations, EPS engineers utilize the latest water resource technologies, along with lessons learned from the development of miles of water, reclaimed water and sanitary sewer facilities, to provide our clients with proven solutions to their most challenging projects.
Irrigation continues to play a vital role in western infrastructure development. Brandon has over 22 years of extensive technical and management experience in water resources engineering, including water production, water distribution, and water storage systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, water master planning, wastewater master planning, and improvement district projects. His vast experience working on all aspects of a project from the due diligence and planning stage through detail design, agency approval, permitting, construction, and finally to operations and maintenance, provides Brandon with a unique understanding of what is required for a project to be successful.
Matt has significant experience developing hydrologic and hydraulic studies and designs for a variety of State, County, and Municipal clients. His drainage design experience includes the analysis of a variety major washes, highway/roadway storm drain systems, channels, retention/detention basins, and floodplains. Matt also serves as one of EPS’ GIS leads and has performed GIS analysis for numerous planning studies and drainage analysis.
For more than 17 years, Bruce has served as the primary contact for the Roosevelt Water Conservation District (RWCD) reviewing and designing irrigation facilities related to relocations due to ADOT, county and municipal projects, private subdivision and commercial developments. With a keen attention to detail and a knack for solving complex problems, he has reviewed or designed hundreds of irrigation projects totaling over 35 miles of 24-inch to 60-inch irrigation pipe and design of irrigation control structures, lateral measure and delivery structures, pump stations, and well site layouts. Bruce has extensive design experience with private irrigation ditch relocation and has a great capacity to understand the design elements from the property owner’s perspective.
Joel has extensive experience in all aspects of civil engineering design and project management. His design experience includes evaluation of existing and proposed site conditions, including roadway improvements, utility design and coordination, site grading, storm event modeling and hydraulics, storm drain analysis, and retention/detention design for an array of land development projects.

He was a division manager for a consulting engineering company for approximately four years, and prior to joining EPS Group, he owned and operated his own firm, G & K South Forty, a leading Construction Project Management firm for projects across central Arizona.
