ABOUT JOEL SAUREY

Joel received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Arizona State University in 1997. He is a registered professional engineer and has worked in land development in the Greater Phoenix area for the past 23 years. Joel works on a variety of projects lending expertise in drainage and flood control, including flood control district permitting, FEMA mapping, and various design and analysis projects. Additionally, he provides site design for residential subdivisions and commercial projects which include, grading/earthwork and on-site drainage, and utility design ranging from on-site service connections to offsite mainline extensions. Over his career, Joel worked on the first master planned communities that started in the City of Maricopa specifically, Rancho El Dorado and Glennwilde. Other notable projects include; Banner Gateway Medical Center, and the Chicago Cubs Spring Training Home of Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona.

A little extra: Joel has been known to take in his fair share of watching hockey. His away-from-work hobby includes family time, involving many travels following his three kids to various destinations on the local and world stages of competitive Irish Dancing.
