The Cortona Planned Area Development is located along a major drainage way, the North Santa Cruz Wash, in the City of Maricopa. Impacted by a 100-year flood plain delineation on the project, design considerations included phasing, circulation, and access to accommodate the drainage way. Lot sizes range from 6,000 square feet to over 20,000 square feet, providing excellent diversity for future residents. Over 100 acres of open space is provided with three major park amenities.
