Project
EPS Group provided civil engineering design and surveying services for this award-winning project.
The $124M, 270,000-square-foot school is a replacement facility designed to increase legacy building’s capacity from 1,000 to 1,800 students. The design uses a curving “arc-shaped” plan with three floor levels to fit between existing athletic fields and the occupied school during construction. The project transformed the vehicular and pedestrian circulation with a new prominent east-west promenade, plazas, outdoor classrooms, amphitheater, and expanded fields and parking to create a campus oriented to both safety and community. The project has been recognized with the 2023 Rocky Mountain Region DBIA Design Excellence Award and the ABC Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award and Design-Build Award of Distinction, underscoring its achievement in design, construction efficiency, and community impact.
