Project
EPS Group provided civil engineering and surveying services on this sustainable and community-centered design project.
A campaign of nearly $27M led to a 47,000-square-foot museum on 11 acres in downtown Fort Collins. The groundbreaking public-private partnership between the City and a nonprofit partner reflects serious investment in community infrastructure. The design features a curving serpentine walkway, native landscaping that blends the built form into adjacent natural areas, and integrated systems for utility, grading and low-impact-development stormwater management. Inside, the museum offers an immersive “Digital Dome” theatre, hands-on science and history galleries, and flexible event space designed to engage people of all ages in discovery and connection. The project earned LEED Platinum certification, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and community-centered design.
