Ocotillo Road Alignment
EPS Group identified/developed geometric designs that resolved alignment and sight distance issues at both major intersections of Ocotillo Road.
Town of Queen Creek | Queen Creek, Arizona
EPS Group provided civil engineering, survey, and construction staking services for Ocotillo Road from Recker to Power Road for the Town of Queen Creek, Arizona. The design included a new minor arterial roadway, a traffic signal at Power Road, sanitary sewer mains, and a new 4 cell 10’x10’ box culvert crossing of Sonoqui Wash.
EPS Group identified and developed innovative geometric designs that resolved alignment and sight distance issues at both major intersections. The Ocotillo Road design passed under an SRP transmission line corridor with significant drainage needs. One of the key project challenges was keeping the project within the Town’s available budget. EPS Group developed both interim and ultimate plans and then provided value engineering to meet the budget constraints.
