EPS Group is currently providing civil engineering and landscape architecture masterplanning design services for this state-of-the-art 117-acre medical/healthcare master-planned community on the Navajo Nation in Ganado, Arizona. The plan addresses all design aspects including roadways, parking fields, drop-off and loading areas, building locations, entry plaza, site amenities, trails, residential lots, monumentation, and architectural entry features.
EPS Group collaborated with Razaghi Healthcare and the design team to envision a medical campus with a new 79,000 sf hospital and 26,000 sf medical office building (MOB) incorporating the historical administration building, rehabilitation, and other medical and wellness facilities; a commercial district with the town post office, town square, cafes, and other amenities; a Central Plaza Park as a community gathering space for town events and includes community gardens, historical remembrance, shade trees and open space areas for picnicking; and a residential district with 75 high-density units and 100 single-family lots for residents, doctors and traveling medical staff.
The new medical campus also incorporates Old Town and the historical Heritage Campus within the master plan, along with community parks, walking trails, ramadas, and a 27-acre area dedicated to renewable energy for solar array fields and wind farms for a net-zero energy goal for the entire community/campus.
