Eric Smith has over 35 years of experience as a surveyor. Eric started his surveying career in the U.S. Army in 1989; after receiving an honorable discharge from Active Duty service in 1992, Eric started surveying in the Loveland area while also being enlisted in the Colorado Army National Guard and continuing his education. He came to Northern Engineering in 2001 to start their Survey Department and became the Department Manager of Survey for EPS when the firms merged in 2023. He is a licensed professional surveyor whose responsibilities entail ensuring clients receive timely and accurate surveying services. Services available include construction surveying for commercial and residential developments, subdivision platting, topographic surveys, drainage certifications, ALTA surveys, and boundary surveys.
A little extra: Eric is a proud military veteran, which included one deployment to Iraq & Kuwait, and advocate to many Veteran support organizations. In his free time, he loves to explore the backcountry with his wife and 2 kids camping, hiking, and fly fishing.
