In the spirit of the farm lifestyle in the Queen Creek area, Fulton Homes and EPS Group worked hand in hand through a series of charrettes and design meetings to conceptualize, theme, and plan out this 503-acre beauty. Barney Farms is a 1,700-lot master planned community that is situated around an active lake that features a lake trail and vehicular and pedestrian bridges that connect all of the lake amenities, including the main park, boardwalk docks, and ramada.
Community residents enjoy a variety of active open spaces including the main park which features an aquatic center with multiple sports courts, farm-themed playground equipment and splash pad, a modern barn-style ramada and pool house, and a game plaza. There are also six neighborhood parks that include shaded tot lots, a ramada and basketball courts, as well as two passive parks with a flower garden and prairie plaza, parasoliel panel trellis shade structures, seat lounges, game tables, water features, and themed planting areas. EPS Group provided civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture services.
