Nick Haws is a Colorado native and proud graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in civil engineering. After cleaning classrooms to help pay for his tuition at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, he moved to Northern Colorado nearly 28 years ago. He became Colorado Market Leader for EPS Group when the firms merged in 2023. His professional work has spanned a wide array of project types and sizes, but he gravitated towards community development, innovative stormwater solutions, and difficult entitlements (which they all seem to be these days!). He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Colorado and is also a LEED Accredited Professional with a certificate from the Green Building Program at CSU’s Institute for the Built Environment.
A little extra: Nick lives in Fort Collins in a neighborhood his firm designed. He stays busy chasing his 12-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter down the slopes of Steamboat as well as trying to keep up with their various activities in Northern Colorado. He loves to fly fish, and when he and his wife head back to Belize in 2024 to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, he hopes to finally land the elusive permit!
